maternity shelter
The Rose Home is committed to safeguarding life by providing a safe haven for pregnant women and their children facing homelessness, while helping them work toward self-sufficiency.
Welcome to a place where support and kindness flourish! Here, every resident receives personalized weekly case management to explore educational and job opportunities, access medical and physical care, and find resources to overcome any challenges.
room & board
Rose Home’s primary purpose is to provide a safe, stable living environment that sets our residents up for long-term health, self-sufficiency, and success – at no cost. This includes housing, food, access to prenatal care, educational opportunities, and employment resources.
case management
At Rose Home, residents meet weekly with the Case Management Director to work on their individual goals and needs, receiving continuous guidance and support. The focus is on developing life-stabilizing skills and accessing support in areas such as budgeting, employment, health and wellness, obtaining a driver’s license, earning a GED, and enrolling in vocational or college programs.
referrals & counseling
As part of our health and wellness support, Rose Home residents receive referrals tailored to their specific needs. These referrals include legal assistance, help with finding long-term safe and affordable housing, counseling for substance abuse, trauma, or domestic violence, and other resources aimed at promoting healing and thriving.
parenting classes
A key focus for Rose Home residents is establishing a strong foundation in positive and healthy parenting for their unborn children. In collaboration with the online video-streaming service Bright Course, our Direct Care Staff meets with residents twice a week to work through coursework that builds confidence in parenting at every stage of their child’s development.
